5-1-2013 I can't believe it's been over a year since my last post. What a slacker - yeesh!! Ü All I can say is...get ready for Update-A-Palooza!!! I'm going to get caught up by posting all the photos from the last year or so first and will then go back and journal each entry later. Ü

January Smanuary...

I know its been a while since my last post; I spent the last 3 weeks of January fighting off a nasty stomach virus & then a cold. I didn't feel like doing much of anything -especially looking at the computer.  But I'm feeling MUCH better now so here's a recap of what else we've been up to the last month or so:

The first week of January my baby sister Kelly & niece Ellee came for a visit. They were originally going to visit us  back in November in Houston, but since we sold our house so fast & had to get out by Dec 1st, we switched their tickets to January & Austin instead. And despite the close quarters, record low temps (poor Kel!) & me beginning my 3-week sickapalooza on their last day/night in town, we still had so much fun together...we always do!  Here's a few pics of our adventures:
Kelly and Ele cheering for the longhorns in BCS championship game - rockin' some sweet tattoos

We had a BLAST eating pizza and playing skee ball & air hockey at Chuck E Cheese. I think Ellee had fun too - HA!

Here we are down at the outlet malls in San Marcos...the sun finally came out and they enjoyed a few hours of warmer temps before heading back to Utah and snow.

THANKS so much for coming to visit guys!  And THANKS to Jac & Phinny for going without them for a few days so they could come & play.  You ALL have to come next time and I PROMISE, Kel, your next trip to Texas will be full of sunshine and warm temps rather than record lows or flooding (April 2009 Houston visit) - yeesh!

Tim started his teacher certification classes in January.  I snapped this pic of him studying for the math subject test one night...he was tired but indulged me 'cause he knows I LOVE it when he wears his Superman shirt.

Well look at that - I do still remember some HS french.  Tim and I were talking yesterday about how this is probably the 2nd coldest Texas winter we've experienced since we moved here 10 years ago.  Yeah, IT SUCKS!  And six more weeks of this crap??!  Are you kidding me??!  You all know I'm an animal lover, but I'd like to knock that dang Punxsutawney Phil up side his furry little head right about now.

Thank goodness we have our awesome 'fur' blanket Tim's parents gave us to keep us toasty warm. Well, when we can pry it away from you-know-who...

Share??  What's that?

We had a blast even with poor you being so sick. Thanks for having us, and we can't wait until next time. Even though we will be visiting after May so we are for sure guaranteed some warmer weather:D
Oh and tell devil dog to get out of my blanket:D
