Winter made an appearance here the past few days. Well "Houston" winter anyways which means rain and temps around 50-60 degrees. Normally I shower & get ready for the day (blow dry my hair and put on some mascara - woo!) after I walk Picabo, but with the "cooler" temps this morning I got ready before we started out. The sun was actually peeking thru the clouds but about 25 minutes in - yep, exactly halfway - a cloud rolled back over the sun and it started to sprinkle. Now anyone who's been in Texas during a rainstorm knows that if it starts to sprinkle, you better get to cover quick 'cause it rarely stops there. Unfortunately for me & Pic, this morning was no different. We were able to wait out the worst of it under someone's carport - yeah, it could have been worse!
As soon as we got thru the gate of our neighborhood, I unhooked her leash and she took off like a shot.
I found her waiting on our porch shivering and looking quite put out...let's just say she's not a huge fan of water :D
Gotta love how prepared I was for rain - white shirt and, yes those are sunglasses on my head - nice!!
Probably wouldn't have bothered to "re-do" my hair but I was kind of cold myself!
Here's Mopey after I dried her off - we call it "fight the towel". Not a big fan of being dried off either.
She's waiting for the dryer to finish heating up her blanket so she can get toasty warm. Nope, she's not spoiled at all - HA!
