5-1-2013 I can't believe it's been over a year since my last post. What a slacker - yeesh!! Ü All I can say is...get ready for Update-A-Palooza!!! I'm going to get caught up by posting all the photos from the last year or so first and will then go back and journal each entry later. Ü

This just in...

Been awhile since I posted (where did the last month go???!!) so here's what we've been up to...

Tim's sister Lindsay & her daughter Bailey came for a visit the second week of May. It was GREAT to have them here & we had a lot of fun catching up. Bailey is 2.5 years old and AWESOME! It was so fun to watch her go all girly and show off for uncle Tim. I have no pictures to post 'cause I kept forgeting my camera. I'm sure there are several friends/family members who wish this happened more often - too bad! :P Linds & Dan are living in San Antonio this summer so we look forward to seeing them again soon. And you can be sure I'll take LOTS of pictures to make up for it ;) Oh, and you have to try Cheez-it's Party Mix. Linds got us hooked...yum!!

One of the many things I LOVE about living in the south are all the flowering trees and bushes year round. One of the best are the Magnolia trees. They've been blooming around here for the last month or so...

May & June are, in my opinion, the worst months in Texas because the humidity/heat skyrocket & it feels miserable until you adjust. Tim usually grows his hair out thru the "winter" and then come May's temperature jump - chop! Here's a pic of him before he cut it this year. We were goin' out for a walk...yeah, he looks thrilled as ever having his picture taken. :)

And here are a few of him post haircut...Pic is trying to convince him cereal is good for dogs too.
I think he looks GREAT whether it's long or short :)

We are in a gated community and have a huge grassy area where all the neighbors hang out & the dogs play. I was out there with 5-6 of the ladies Thurs night and snapped a photo of Picabo - aka Princess Buttercup - making herself right at home next to Dani on Dani's beach towel...taking a break from bird chasing and running herd over the rest of the dogs. She may be the smallest but she's still the bossiest dog of the group (brat!).

This is Dani's dog, Trip, below - not much room if he decides to "share" your towel. Picabo is literally the size of his head - awesome!!
