5-1-2013 I can't believe it's been over a year since my last post. What a slacker - yeesh!! Ü All I can say is...get ready for Update-A-Palooza!!! I'm going to get caught up by posting all the photos from the last year or so first and will then go back and journal each entry later. Ü

What some of you may not know is that Miniature Pinschers were originally bred to catch rats and mice. So when you are walking your min pin and she sees what amounts to a mouse with a bushy tail (known to us humans as a squirrel) you had better hope there are no obstacles in your way as your min pin goes from zero to sixty in two seconds max, chasing after that bushy-tailed mouse. For example, one obstacle may be a bright blue FIRE HYDRANT on the street corner...

And you may end up with a beautiful bump & bruise like this!

Believe me, it could have been worse. I actually had blue paint on my pant leg. Once again, Mom and Dad, THANKS for the ballet lessons as a kid. You will never know how many times that leaping & one-legged balancing has saved me from a broken arm, neck, etc. The good news is both Picabo and the squirrel came out of it unscathed...Picabo blames me! Of course, there's always tomorrow's walk. No worries though - I'll be wearing elbow & knee pads and maybe a helmet.

Oh my gosh! You knee looks terrible! I just had a spill and hurt my knee too! I think we are kindred spirits! Tell Pic she is naughty! Call you soon! Love you!

Tricia, we are so disappointed that the dog's name is not Muffy. What happened to tradition?! Maybe it is because your parents have named their current dog this name??

However, I agree...those ballet (and especially the Orchesis) lessons have saved me on numerous occasions.

P.S. Janae says hi too!
